The robotics club was started in 2019 by the American Corner in conjunction with ICTAZ-CBU with an Objective and aim of spreading the knowledge of artificial intelligence and programming accross the Copperbelt escpecially in primary and secondary schools.

Robotics club is dedicated to the exploration, making and programming of lego robots. Students will develop skills in programming their robots to meet specific design challanges. We are motivated to grow to later host Robotic competions around the Copperbelt and Zambia.

The objectives of the club are to promote a love for robots around secondary and primary schools and engange children in computer programming and problem solving activities to encourage creativity and initiative. To support and foster interest in various aspects related to robotics; in particular, mechanical design and cater to the interests of hobbyists and beginners in robotics, as well as of seniors who may be involved in professional design.
