The Information Communication Technology Society has a very important role to play in the development of Zambian industry and the national economy as a whole.Since the introduction of an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science at the Copperbelt University, it became evident that there was need for a forum, through which students would equip themselves for the same.
It is also desired and hoped that students will be assisted through this forum to integrate into industry and contribute meaningfully towards national development.
We, therefore, the students of the school of ICT (Information and Communication Technology), jointly form this society and have called ourselves the Information Communication Technology Association- CBU Chapter(ICTAZ-CBU)."
